Process & Design

Each engagement ring box starts as a solid piece of seasoned timber. We carefully select the finest timber for colour and grain. The timber is then cut (bookmatched) in our Sydney workshop to ensure the timber remains strong and stable.

Next, the timber is cut, machined and sanded. Custom made hinges are then installed and the box is left for 24 hours to cure.

We take meticulous care in the finishing process. Each box is hand sanded, a delicate chamfer added and then coated with  Danish oil. The internal velvet parts are the final touch finishing off the box.

Our design process allows us to customise your box to suit your ring, ensuring the best fit. Each engagement box is made to last a lifetime.
